Facilitate with Participlan™, the 2 day programme offered by BPG, equips facilitators to apply the Participlan™ tool to enhance results of the meetings and group sessions they run.

Whilst there is merit in having competent facilitators in house to call upon, there are often occasions when having a neutral external facilitator is a more appropriate option. A highly competent facilitator of the Participlan™ process would typically ‘manage’ the meeting process, whilst the participants themselves would be fully engaged in ‘managing’ the content.

Typically, BPG would supply a specialist facilitator, who is experienced at running strategic workshops.  He or she would take a comprehensive brief from the client.

This is essential to give the facilitator a clear perspective of the context of the client’s business and the issue at hand, and the client’s objectives of the session. The briefing meeting should include any number of people who could add value to the briefing discussion.

The skill of our facilitator not only lies in his expertise in the Participlan™ methodology, but in the formatting of the questions that drive the thinking process.  Through carefully worded and sequenced questions, paricipants remain focused, and greater time efficiency is achieved.

The end result is a set of action plans, co created by the group, with clear deadlines and measures, and a higher level of commitment to implementation.

We would generally quote a project fee for an intervention such as this, which would be based on the time involvement of the facilitator, including preparation, facilitation hours/days, and post-session reporting.
